League City is holding a Special Election on Saturday, May 3, 2025 to fill the vacancy for City Council Position No. 5, which was vacated by former councilmember Justin Hicks. The Position 5 term expires in November of 2028.

 The candidates, in the order in which they will appear on the ballot, are:

League City residents may vote at any of the Galveston County polling locations listed on the GalvestonVotes website. League City residents who reside in Harris County will vote in Galveston County for this election.
