League City to Host Community Blood Drive August 12

Residents are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life during the Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Civic Center, located at 400 West Walker, League City, TX 77573.

This life-saving initiative provides an easy and convenient way for the community to make a difference. Donating blood helps ensure that hospitals and emergency services have the critical resources needed for patients facing surgeries, trauma, cancer treatments, and other medical emergencies.

Organizers stress that the need for blood is constant, and every donation counts. Participants are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance to help streamline the process. Interested donors can register online to donate blood through the provided link.

For those planning to attend, remember to bring a valid photo ID and eat a healthy meal before donating. Each donation could save multiple lives, making this simple act a powerful contribution to the well-being of others.
