There are three positions available with new terms to expire October 31, 2027, and one position available with a term expiration of October 31, 2026.
All applications will be forwarded to the current Economic Development Corporation Board members for review and to make recommendations to the City Council at the next City Council meeting scheduled for November 4, 2025. If appointed, the person will take a seat on the board immediately. You will be required to take two online training courses, one for the Open Meetings Act and one for the Public Information Act.
EDC meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Clubhouse. (Some changes or exceptions may occur.)
Brief Description:
The primary purpose of an Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is to foster economic growth within the City of Clear Lake Shores by attracting new businesses, retaining and expanding existing ones, and improving local infrastructure and quality of life.
