GCHD, CHW visit overnight cooling center

Galveston County Health District and Coastal Health & Wellness staff visited the Dickinson High School overnight cooling center.

Staff talked to the Red Cross, educated them on food safety, and provided assistance.

They spoke with the Red Cross, Sheriff’s Department, and Mayor Skipworth to ensure all citizens have a safe and cool place if needed.
