Annual Rain Barrel Sale and Rebate Program

Residents can purchase rain barrels for $78 (retail price $154) from now until May 27

League City is now taking online orders on a first-come, first-served basis for 50-gallon “Ivy” rain barrels for the low price of $78. In addition, a limited number of League City Utility Billing residential customers can qualify for a $25 rebate off their utility bill.

The barrels are 50-gallon capacity, mosquito resistant, have a locking child-proof lid, and include an overflow hose attachment. 

Rain barrels are used for harvesting rainwater, which helps protect rivers and streams from runoff pollution. They also help supplement the water supply by using rainwater to irrigate gardens and landscapes. 

The deadline to order your rain barrel is May 27. Rain barrels will be available for pickup on June 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the League City Public Works Operation Center, 1701 W. League City Parkway.
